The seniors are recognized for their 4 years of work in the band. It was fun watching the kids get the 15 seconds of fame.
The jazz band was really good. I think the parents and grand-parents enjoy the jazz much more than the kids.
Guys have to come up with some way to make them stand out. How else can they get the girls to notice?

Today I raked the side yard and then took photos, Missy did not notice I was gone until I was almost done.
Tonight was a band concert with Middle Schools and High School filling up the entire gym. Sorry I did not record there music. They did a supper job ... with jazz band and all!
OK, so I have a grandson in the middle school band!

The first two photos are driftwood on the banks of the Missouri River near St Charles, MO
The third photo was taken from the front of a car on I-55 going around Springfield. I like the white smoke ballooning out of the smoke stack and blue sky background.
